As recently described in an article published on Applied Clinical Trials,(1) allegedly more than 4,000 clinical trials of medicines are missing published results on the European trial registry EudraCT. There may be several different reasons for this violation of long-standing transparency rules, some of which may be due to limitations in time and resources.
